On February 9, 2015 Acting City Engineer Leigh Schultz updated Southfield City Council regarding various infrastructure projects progressing after the passage of the November 2014 Millage.

Comcast GreatLand Franchise Transfer Discussion With Southfield City Council

On February 9, 2015 representatives from Comcast along with a consulting lawyer working with the city discussed the possible transfer of the city's franchise agreement with Comcast to GreatLand Connections, Inc.

Note: The transfer would better position Comcast to merge with Time Warner
